6 Month Check-Up

Alexander had his 6 month check-up last week and is just getting bigger and bigger (around that is)! :) He now weighs 18 lbs 5 ozs (65%) and is 26" long (35%). Dr. Joyce still just can't believe how big around his chest and broad his shoulders are. There is nothing dainty or delicate about this boy! :)

For the most part he's sleeping through the night now. We finally figured out that if we give him one more feeding of cereal before he goes to bed, he can make it to the morning -- you would think that we never feed this boy with how hungry he gets all the time! :)

He is getting closer and closer to starting to crawl although we laugh that we're not sure how he's going to manage because his belly is so big and his thighs so short -- we're not sure he can actually get his stomach off the floor! ;)

Alex is just the happiest baby you will ever see and he just lights up the room. Emily is still in love with him and cares for him almost as well as Nelson and I do. They are such a joy! :)
