Alexander's 4th Birthday
Alexander turned 4 years old on Monday. It is hard to believe he's already four and the time has flown by! He has grown up so much this last year and has turned into such a goofy little boy. He is an absolute joy and he brings such entertainment to our family! He makes friends everywhere he goes and couldn't pick a few to invite to a birthday party, so we did a party with just the four of us. We had a wonderful time and so did he! :)
Emily bought Alex this racetrack. She knows him well, because he was ecstatic to set it up and start playing with it!
Alex doesn't like crafts as well as Emily, but we thought he would enjoy making this pirate ship with an attacking octopus. What boy doesn't love pirates, right?! :)
Nana and Papa bought Alex a bug catching kit with a bug t-shirt. Alex has tried to catch bugs just about every free minute since and he asks to wear his bug shirt EVERYDAY!
Legos from Aunt Tracie and Uncle Curt are exactly what he wanted!! :)
We bought this cool book for Alex that has a wind-up train that follows the tracks of the story. We love Usborne Books! :)
Alex finally got his own kaleidoscope. He was SOOOOOO excited!! :) He's been using it as a magic wand and turning us all into frogs. (I told you he was a funny kid!)
His two favorite toys are trains and legos. And he got plenty of both this year. He was a very, very happy boy!
Happy Birthday, Alexander!
It took him about a dozen tries to blow out the candles!!
When asked what he wanted for his birthday cake, he couldn't decide between blackberry pie and carrot cake. He finally narrowed it down to carrot cake and he devoured it!! :)
Here he is in his new bug t-shirt. Isn't it cute?! :)
One of our babysitters got Alex a little pool toy - it's a shark that eats little fish. It's so cute!! :)
Look at that smile!! He's such a sweetie!!
If you have never played this game before, you MUST! It's hilariously fun and the kids just love to play! Thank you Uncle Ben & Aunt Laura!! :)
And more Legos -- yeah!!! :)
And a new water gun, that could not have come at a better time since his just broke!! :)
