The Logic of a Child

I was "negotiating" with Emily just now to finish up her mac&cheese. This is how it went:

J: You need to eat three more bites.
E: My tummy isn't hungry for three. It can only eat two.
J: Well, you need to eat three.
E: I can only do two.
J: How about you eat two and then one more after that?
E: Ok, I can do that.
