Fifth Prenatal Visit

Well, Happy New Year to you all! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We had a great time in Oregon and it was really nice to see all of Nelson's family! :)

We had another check-up today. "Baby Lewis" is doing just fine (she's also being referred to as "prawny", "razzle-dazzle", "gliss-gloss", "razzy" or "____" -- that last one is a secret you will have to wait and hear on May 10th!). :) Judy said everything is just fine and mama and baby are doing well! I'm officially 25 weeks along and the baby's heartbeat has slowed a little and is down to 140. She weighs about 1.5 lbs and is kicking ALL the time now! Nelson got to feel it for the first time last weekend -- It's pretty amazing!

Other than that, not much going on here. We're working hard on the "rental house" and trying to finish that up before the baby comes. Shouldn't be a problem as long as everything goes according to plan from here on out -- one never knows when it comes to construction and remodeling! :)

My next check-up is February 20th and after that Judy wants me to start coming in every 2-3 weeks, as I'll be in the 3rd Trimester. We're going to start checking into some birthing classes this week and will probably register sometime in February. I'll keep you all posted as things progress. For those of you interested, here is a picture of the nursery bedding I chose (it's made by Lambs & Ivy -- called Secret Garden). It's cherry, sage and vanilla colored and we can't wait to see "Baby Lewis" playing in her crib! :)
