"Rental House" Progress
As many of you know, we bought an investment property last May. This house had a fire about a year before we bought it and was in need of A LOT of work. We had planned on fixing it up and renting it out, but have now decided to just sell it once it is finished.
Here are a few pictures of it when we first bought it and it in it's current status. As you can tell, we aren't quite finished yet but are making some serious progress! We're hoping to be done around when the baby is born -- keep your fingers crossed on that one too! :)
We've had the house completely re-done including electrical, heating, plumbing and drywall. The interior staircase was charred (the fire started at the base of the stairwell) and Nelson and my dad replaced that. As you can see, the exterior used to be a dark, ashy gray. We thought the white would brighten things up. We're planning to paint the window trim navy and then the outside should be close to done. The house also was divided into two units, top and bottom. We have since combined both floors and made it into a single family home.
Hope you enoy the pictures! We'll keep your posted on the progress! :)
