Emily's Reacton to Santa and Christmas Morning

Christmas Day

We put out milk and cookies for Santa and even opened the fireplace door so that he could get into the house! :)

This broom and dustpan set from Curt & Tracie had to have been one of the highlights of Christmas Day. As you all know, she loves to clean and this is just her size! I even put together a "cleaning bucket" with a few supplies and you would have thought she had won the lottery. We can't get her to stop sweeping now! :)

She also got another baby from Grandma and Papa Lewis, which she has named Amy. Emily loves her and makes sure she is in bed everytime they take a nap! :)

You can see here that Emily got another baby as well. This is from Jill and Nathan and Emily has named her Mary. She also gets tucked into bed with Emily and Amy! :)

Alex got a dump truck from Grandma & Papa Willis and he wasn't sure what to think of it . . . but the other kids loved it!! :)

This is the gift from Santa and between the broom and the castle, Emily has been having a ton of fun over the last few days. Curt and Tracie got her a few more people to play with in her castle and she has been having a blast! The castle has a trap door into a prison, a draw bridge and a few tucked away doorways. Emily has been very creative with these and just loves it! (Exactly the reaction "Santa" was hoping for!) :)

More Pictures of Our Little Man!

6 Months Old

Laughing is something that comes easily to Alex and he does this often! He is such a wonderful little guy and it's hard to believe he is already 6 months old! He is sleeping much better at night now (rarely waking up to eat anymore), but that might have something to do with how much he eats during the day! He . . . loves . . . food! He eats cereal and fruits/veggies 3 times a day, plus a bottle 4-5 times a day. We haven't given him any food yet that he doesn't like (including broccoli, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, chicken noodle soup, prunes, bananas, peaches, apple sauce -- you name it!). :)

His favorite activities are playing in his exer-saucer or watching Emily. She mesmerizes him and everything she does is funny! They get along so well and we just couldn't ask for a better relationship between them. We just love our little guy and it's hard to believe he's 6 months old! :)

Our Little Helper

Emily grated the cheese for the taco salad! :)
Emily was helping Grandma make peanut butter blossom cookies and loved wearing her apron. So much so that she proceeded to wear it for the rest of the day! :)

Alex and Ava are simply adorable!

Emiliy got a few early Christmas presents and this was one of them from Grandma & PaPa. It's a large puzzle of sea life -- also known as "Nemo". :)
