Fun With Friends

Emily has had Maddie & Mal over a few times this week and as you can see, they've been having a great time! Complete with eating popcorn while watching Veggie Tales, jumping in Emily's bed, and having a tea party. They are so cute! :)

Today's Craft-Time

Here are some pictures from today's craft-time. I cut out some paper hearts and then had Emily decorate them with crayons, markers and buttons. Then we punched some holes in them and hung them around the house to celebrate Valentine's Day. She had a blast!! :) Here is a heart-garland above the fireplace -- she LOVED threading the string through the holes! :)

And then she taped the extra hearts to the fireplace doors -- she was very proud of herself! :)

And we made a few door-hangers too - - she loved gluing the buttons!! :)

Alex's Progression to Crawling

Alex has been getting up on all fours a lot lately, but he's just now started pairing it with the rocking back and forth. When he's on his belly, his legs and arms are always going -- now he just has to put it all together! Any day now . . . :)

Super-Hero Emily

SuperBowl XLIII

We had a Superbowl party last night with some friends and of course we all sported our Green Bay Packers' attire. Nelson didn't like it too much, but notice that he is wearing green -- maybe a closet cheesehead???! :) This is Emily with one of her friends -- they were the two cheerleaders of the night! :)

7 Months Old . . . plus a few days!

That's right, Alex is 7 months old (plus a few days). I can't believe how this snuck up on us and we still have yet to get his 6 month pictures re-taken . . . hopfeully this week! :)

Alex is doing incredibly well! He has been sleeping about 12 hours a night for the last week and we are LOVING it! He has enjoyed every single food we've given him and just gobbles up everything! As you can see, he's gotten his top two teeth and he's also working on the two next to those. He is a drooling mess and his poor little face is all chapped from this -- he doesn't seem to care though! :)

Emily and Alex are still the best of buds and make each other laugh over the craziest things! I've tried to get it on video but they both get distracted by the camera -- you know how it goes!

Alex has started to scoot and is trying his hardest to crawl -- any day now and we'll be chasing him all over the house! I know we'll probably regret saying this, but we can't wait for him to start moving!! :)

A Nice Surprise

Amanda and her parents were in Canton last weekend visiting David & Linda (Amanda's cousin and his wife -- also the pastor of the church we were married in). So, they invited us over for dinner and we got to catch up a little. We had a great time and Alex loved meeting his Aunt Amanda! :)
